Stearns & Foster Mattresses in Canada (2026): Collections, Prices and Warranty

The collections on the Canadian site

Stearns & Foster's Canadian site (stearnsandfoster.ca) describes six mattress collections and, for each, the surface types and the feel the brand assigns to them. It names a model under three of the collections and says they are "Available at The Brick"; the other three say "Available at select retailers". The site has no prices and no cart; every collection page ends in a "Find a Retailer" link. Table 1 records what each page said on November 2, 2026.

Two things the site states about the brand itself: its About Us page describes "175 years of exceptional design", and its FAQ page says "Stearns & Foster® mattresses are all designed in Canada at three facilities across the country". Prices by model and size at The Brick and Costco

The Brick lists each size as its own product, so Table 2 gives the prices we read on November 2, 2026 for every size that appeared in The Brick's search results for the brand, plus the two Costco.ca listings with each size selected. The Brick's search page reported "37 products" for the brand, with 14 marked "On Sale"; the prices below are the ones shown on each product page that day, mattress only unless a set is named.

Three readings of the table. First, by our arithmetic the Costco queen prices sit $750 to $3,700 below The Brick's, and the Costco listings are a different product line: Costco's pages name them Kirkland Signature by Stearns & Foster, and the brand's own collection pages do not list the Lakeridge name. Second, The Brick's Burnley is the model the brand's Founders page names as available at The Brick, and its queen price of $2,249.95 is the lowest of the four retail models. Third, The Brick's search results also listed Stearns & Foster boxsprings at $190.00 to $380.00 and a Stearns & Foster memory foam pillow at $199.00, which matter because the brand's warranty page ties coverage to the base (see warranty, bases and delivery). What the listings say is inside

The Brick's product pages carry a specifications table and a features list for each model; Costco's pages carry a short features list. Table 3 quotes the construction details as each listing states them. We have not opened any of these mattresses, and a listing that states more details is a more detailed listing, not a better mattress.

• Coil-in-coil: every Brick listing names the brand's "IntelliCoil® coil-in-coil system", and the specifications give a coil count that rises with size: 984 in twin XL, 1,288 in full, 1,504 in queen and 1,954 in king for the models that listed those sizes. Costco's pages name "IntelliCoil HD" without a count.
• Height: The Brick's four models run from 13.5 inches (Allianz tight top) to 17.5 inches (Swansea Euro pillowtop). Taller mattresses need deeper-pocket sheets and change bed height; our guide to pillow top vs Euro top mattresses explains what the surface names mean.
• Feel labels: The Brick labels the Allianz "Firm", the Burnley and Middlesbrough "Medium" and the Swansea "Plush"; Costco labels its two "Firm" and "Medium-Firm". These are the brand's labels, not a shared scale; see our firmness by sleep position and body weight chart.
• Origin, as the retailer states it: The Brick's listings carry the line "Proudly made in Canada with Canadian and non-domestic components" and its search filter counts 32 of the brand's 37 items under "Made in Canada"; the brand's FAQ says its mattresses are "designed in Canada at three facilities". Those are the sellers' statements, quoted as read.

Warranty, bases and delivery

• Warranty length: each Brick product page lists "10 Year Limited Warranty" in its specifications. The brand's own warranty page does not state a number of years in the text we read; it says coverage "begins on the date of purchase and follows the" warranty schedule it publishes, and refers readers to customer service at 1-800-268-4414.
• What the warranty page covers: "manufacturing defects in a mattress or foundation when the set is subject to proper handling and normal use in conjunction with a bed frame that provides continuous support". For a queen or king frame it requires "A rigid bridge bar with a supporting leg and At least 5 legs, or 5 equally spaced hardwood cross-slats", and adds that if the slats are more than 2 inches apart "a solid platform is required to be placed on top of the slats". It also states: "A Stearns & Foster® mattress must be supported by a Stearns & Foster® foundation or an approved lifestyle foundation." • What it excludes: the page lists "comfort preference, bed height, spills", covers "with stains, soiling or burns", damage "due to use with an inappropriate foundation", floor models, used bedding and "normal body indentation not associated with sag in foundation, as outlined in the Warranty Schedule". • Compatible bases at The Brick: the Allianz, Burnley and Middlesbrough pages list "Stearns & Foster® Boxspring or Any Adjustable or Platform Base"; the Swansea page lists "Stearns & Foster® Boxspring or any Adjustable Base Compatible". The brand's own site sells the Sealy Reflexion Plus adjustable base under its Bases page.
• Costco delivery and returns: both Costco listings said "White Glove Delivery Included"; the Lakeridge Pillowtop was marked "Quick Ship" with the earliest delivery shown as the next day for the Toronto postal code the site used, and the Lakeridge Firm was "Online Only" with "approximately 10 - 15 business days". Haul-away of an old mattress was offered at checkout for $75.00 on the Pillowtop page and $79.99 on the Firm page. Costco's return policy page says: "We guarantee your satisfaction with every product we sell and will refund your purchase price, with the following exceptions", and mattresses were not among the exceptions on the page we read.
