Sealy Mattresses in Canada (2026): Prices by Size at Sleep Country, Costco, The Brick and Leon's, Trials and the Warranty

Sealy's Canadian website shows almost no prices: it sends you to a retailer. So we read the Sealy listings at Sleep Country, Costco.ca, The Brick and Leon's, priced every model by size, set out what each store's exchange or return terms, delivery and old-mattress removal actually say, and explain the warranty code on the law tag, which decides how long a Sealy is covered.

AI Overview answer

How much is a Sealy mattress in Canada?

Quick answer: On October 19, 2026, a queen Sealy was listed from $299.00 (Sealy Essentials Evan II at Leon's) to $3,739.15 (Sealy Posturepedic Luxury Lainey at Sleep Country). By store, the queens ran from $594.15 to $3,739.15 at Sleep Country (sale prices shown against "Was" prices of $999.00 to $4,399.00 during a limited-time extra 15% off offer), from $599.99 to $1,449.99 at Costco.ca, from $899.95 to $2,399.00 at The Brick and from $299.00 to $2,399.00 at Leon's. Sealy's own Canadian site lists no prices beyond "Queen Prices Starting At: $399" for its mattress-in-a-box line and points you to a retailer, so the trial depends on where you buy: Sleep Country allows one exchange within 100 nights, not before night 21, for a $99 fee plus any price difference; The Brick allows one reselection within 90 days (180 if you bought a mattress protector with the set), after 21 days; Leon's allows one exchange within 100 nights, after 21 days, if you buy and use its Platinum Sleep Care cover; Costco says it reviews returns case by case. Sealy's warranty length is set by the code on the mattress law tag: 10 years for the most common codes, and up to 25 years in total for some.

Decide in four questions

Four questions before you buy a Sealy

1. Do you need a refund, or is an exchange enough?

At Sleep Country, The Brick and Leon's the safety net is an exchange or reselection, not your money back, and all three ask you to sleep on the mattress for 21 days first. See trial, return and warranty terms.

2. Which Sealy is it, exactly?

Four stores listed about thirty different Sealy names, from Essentials to Posturepedic Luxury, and the same series carries different model names from store to store. Compare by feel, height, size and the store's terms, not by the word Sealy. See which Sealy models are sold in Canada.

3. Is the discount real for your size?

Sleep Country's extra 15% has no published end date, Costco's Sealy promotions carry "Valid for orders placed" dates, and two of Leon's Posturepedic listings were marked Final Clearance. See how to read the discounts.

4. Does the old mattress need to go?

Removal is an extra at every store we checked: $99 (Green Glove) at Sleep Country, $79.99 at Costco.ca, $15.75 a piece at The Brick and $15.00 a piece at Leon's. See delivery and your old mattress.

Which Sealy models are sold in Canada?

Sealy Canada's "Shop Mattresses" page groups its range into Cocoon by Sealy, Sealy Mattress-in-a-Box ("Queen Prices Starting At: $399"), a Spring Line, a Foam Line, a Hybrid Line and Posturepedic, and its "Find a Retailer" page asks for your address. The stores then list their own line-ups, and on October 19, 2026 the four we read used different names:

  • Sleep Country: Sealy Optimum Chill 2.0 (9 in.), Posturepedic Z5 1 (11 in.), Z5 2 (12 in.) and Z5 3 (13.5 in.), Posturepedic Plus DBS 1, 2 and 3 (the 2.0 versions), Posturepedic Raindrop LP and LF, and Posturepedic Luxury Lainey.
  • Costco.ca: Sealy Posturepedic Madoc (11.5 in.), Sundridge (14.25 in.), Salmo (12 in.), Catarina Eurotop and Lincoln Heights (14 in.), Posturepedic Pro Highland Manor (13 in.) and Omak Valley (13 in.), Posturepedic Plus Prosser Hills (12 in. Firm, and a 13.5 in. Plush Pillow Top), plus Posturepedic Norman Wells and Georgina, Cocoon by Sealy boxed mattresses and a Sealy Mirrorform adjustable-base set that we did not price by size.
  • The Brick: Sealy Posturepedic Plus Alora, 850 Series Espanola, 950 Series Lambton, 1050 Series Minden, Plus 1000 Series Bronson, and the Posturepedic Luxury Crown Jewel Resort Cabo, Paradiso and Mykonos.
  • Leon's: Sealy Essentials Evan II, Remy II and Cruise Cab, Burchelle, Posturepedic Correct Comfort 4 and 5, Posturepedic Plus Sterling Milana II and Posturepedic Palatial Crest Kamden II.

Because the names differ from store to store, a Sealy at one retailer usually has no counterpart under the same name at another. Compare a Sealy by size, feel, height, price and the store's terms rather than by name alone, and keep the law tag's warranty code in mind (see what the Sealy warranty code means). We have not tested any mattress for this guide.

How much does each Sealy cost by size?

These are the prices each store showed on October 19, 2026 for the mattress alone, before tax and delivery. Sleep Country's figures are the sale prices shown on each product page next to a "Was" price, during its limited-time extra 15% off offer; we did not test the checkout price. Costco.ca prices are for the mattress only (not the mattress set) in the size selected on the product page. The Brick prices by store location: the figures here are the ones shown with its default location, and some stores showed higher prices for the same model. Leon's prices are the ones its site showed with its Richmond, BC store selected. A blank cell means that size was not listed or not captured.

Hamuq, The Original Hybrid Mattress (not a Sealy) See product page $799 $879 $899 $999 $1,189

Two things stand out at Sleep Country. The order of the prices does not follow the model numbers: the Posturepedic Z5 3 (plush, 13.5 in.) was listed at $849.15 in queen, below the Z5 2 (medium, 12 in.) at $1,257.15, so the number in a Sealy name is not a price tier. And the "Was" prices reach much further than the sale prices: the Raindrop LP and LF share a $3,899.00 "Was" price but were $2,379.15 and $3,314.15 on the day. Sleep Country also listed RV queen sizes for several Posturepedic models and full XL for the Plus DBS models; we left those out of the table.

Hamuq, The Original Hybrid Mattress (not a Sealy) See product page $799 $879 $899 $999 $1,189

Three things stand out across the four stores. The cheapest Sealy queens were at Leon's: the Essentials Evan II at $299.00 and the Remy II at $399.00, both labelled "HOT BUY", with the Posturepedic Correct Comfort 4 at $599.00 on Final Clearance. Between about $600 and $1,100 for a queen, every store had a Sealy: Costco.ca from the Posturepedic Madoc at $599.99 to the Posturepedic Lincoln Heights and Plus Prosser Hills at $1,099.99, Sleep Country's Optimum Chill 2.0 ($594.15), Z5 1 ($662.15), Z5 3 ($849.15) and Plus DBS 1 ($1,104.15), The Brick's Plus Alora ($899.95) and Crown Jewel Resort Cabo ($1,099.95), and Leon's Sterling Milana II ($899.00). Above $2,000, the choice narrows to Sleep Country's Raindrop, Plus DBS 3 and Luxury Lainey, The Brick's Bronson and Mykonos, and Leon's Palatial Crest Kamden II. The sizes also differ: Costco.ca lists some models in double rather than full, and several Sleep Country and Brick models start at twin XL.

For context on what Canadians pay for a mattress in general, see our guide to mattress prices in Canada by size, and for the brand at the other end of the price range, our Tempur-Pedic in Canada guide, which uses the same method.

Is there a sale on Sealy right now?

At Sleep Country, yes, with conditions you should read. Its offers page described a "Save The Max Tax" promotion: "Get 15% off almost everything", applied online "automatically" before tax at checkout, with exclusions for some offers and for the Kluft and Palais Royale brands, and the words "Limited time offer. Offers subject to change without notice." It gave no end date. On the Optimum Chill 2.0 page, for example, the queen showed $594.15, "Was $999.00" and an "EXTRA 15% off" label. $999.00 less 15% would be $849.15, so the sale price is lower than the extra 15% alone explains; whatever the mechanism, the number to compare is the one in your cart for your size.

At Costco.ca, several Sealy pages carried a dated promotion line: the Lincoln Heights and Sundridge pages read "Valid for orders placed 10/12/26 to 10/25/26", so the price you see can change on the day after a window closes. At The Brick, we recorded the prices shown with its default store location; the same model carried a higher price at some locations, so set your store before you compare. At Leon's, most Sealy listings carried a "HOT BUY" label, the Correct Comfort 4 and 5 were marked "Final Clearance" (the Correct Comfort 5 queen read "SALE $699.00 SAVE $800"), and the product page we opened showed a "30 Day Low Price Guarantee" link.

If you can wait, our mattress sale calendar for Canada shows when stores usually run their biggest events, and our Black Friday mattress guide tracks the pre-sale prices.

What trial, return and warranty do you get with a Sealy in Canada?

The warranty comes from Sealy; the trial comes from the store. Sealy's warranty certificate says coverage "follows the 'Warranty Schedule' found online at sealy.ca", and its site describes no sleep trial of its own. Here is what each store's policy page said on October 19, 2026.

Hamuq (Original Hybrid) 120-night at-home sleep trial Yes; the refund policy says refunds are processed after the mattress is picked up Hamuq's FAQ asks you to keep the mattress at least 30 nights; it must be in donatable condition; Hamuq arranges a courier to collect it 15-year limited warranty

What does the Sealy warranty code mean?

Sealy's 2026 Canadian warranty certificate does not state one number of years. It says coverage "begins on the date of purchase and follows the 'Warranty Schedule' found online at sealy.ca", for the original purchaser, and covers "manufacturing defects in a mattress or foundation when the set is subject to proper handling and normal use in conjunction with a bed frame that provides Continuous Support". For a queen or king, the certificate says the frame "must have a rigid bridge-bar with at least 5 support legs or 5 equally spaced hardwood cross-slats with a supporting center leg", and slats more than two inches apart need a solid platform. It also describes body indentations as normal.

The schedule on sealy.ca (its heading reads "CSW-04 Warranty effective 02/02/2004 Rev 07/17") matches a two-letter or letter-and-number code printed on the law tag to a term. The codes we read:

  • S3, P3, C3, T3 and R3: 10 years of no-charge repair or replacement, and a 10-year total limited warranty. Most Sealy and Posturepedic mattresses we saw are sold with 10-year terms, but the code on your tag decides.
  • P9: 15 years no-charge, 25 years total; P1: 10 years no-charge, 20 years total (after the no-charge years the schedule applies a prorated charge based on the dealer's current retail price).
  • MY, TY and CY: 5 years no-charge, 10 years total; MG, TG and CG: 3 years no-charge, 10 total; TE and CE: 1 year no-charge, 10 total; TQ: 2 years, 10 total; MC, TC and CC: 1 year, 5 total; MA and TA: 1 year in total.
  • Indentation threshold: a body indentation under 1.5 inches that is not associated with foundation sag is not covered (1.25 inches for Optimum codes P1 and P3, 0.75 inch for Optimum P9).

Before you buy, ask the store which warranty code the model carries, or look for it on the law tag in store. Keep the receipt, and use a frame that meets the Continuous Support wording, because the certificate ties coverage to it.

Delivery, and what happens to your old mattress

  • Sleep Country: Standard Delivery is free on select mattress orders; White Glove ($59) brings it to your room but "Does not include setup, packaging removal, or old mattress pickup"; Green Glove ($99) adds setup and "Removal & recycling of your old mattress & base/boxspring (equal to the number of pieces purchased)". These are the fees its page showed with an Ontario location selected; they may differ by region.
  • Costco.ca: the Sealy Posturepedic Catarina page showed a $75.00 delivery line, and old-mattress haul-away is a separate service at $79.99.
  • The Brick: with its Premium Delivery Service, the old mattress or boxspring is removed one for one for $15.75 a piece ("a queen mattress and boxspring - $31.50"), depending on the market, and each piece must be bagged and sealed; the bags come from the store or the delivery team.
  • Leon's: the Sealy product page we opened offered "Add Haul Away?" at $15.00 for an existing mattress and $15.00 for an existing boxspring, and showed "Local Delivery Available" with the Richmond, BC store selected; delivery fees are set per store.

Our guide, will they take your old mattress?, compares the removal terms of more Canadian retailers, and our mattress disposal guide covers the city options if you skip the store's service.

Is a Sealy worth it?

Whether a mattress feels worth it is personal, and we have not tested one. What the price buys can be set out on paper:

  • A very wide price range under one name, from $299.00 to $3,739.15 for a queen on the same day, which means "Sealy" on its own tells you little about what you are getting.
  • A warranty whose length depends on the code on the law tag: 10 years for the common codes, 20 or 25 years in total for some, and as little as one year for others.
  • A store safety net that is usually an exchange, not a refund, after a 21-day wait: one exchange at Sleep Country for a $99 fee, one reselection at The Brick, one exchange at Leon's with its cover, case-by-case returns at Costco.
  • Wide availability: all four stores list Sealy, which makes it one of the easiest brands to try in a showroom before buying.

A Sealy makes most sense if you have lain on the exact model in a store, you know its warranty code, you are comfortable with an exchange rather than a refund, and the price for your size fits your budget. Look elsewhere if you want a refund-based trial at home, or if you would rather compare several brands' trials first: our sleep trial comparison sets them side by side, and our best firm mattress guide covers the firm end of the market.

Hamuq product context

Where Hamuq fits

Hamuq publishes this guide and sells a competing mattress, so read this section with that in mind. Hamuq is not a Sealy retailer, and the comparison is on price and terms only.

  • The Original Hybrid Mattress was $799 in twin, $879 in twin XL, $899 in full, $999 in queen and $1,189 in king on October 19, 2026, with the California king listed as unavailable.
  • Trial and warranty: Hamuq's FAQ describes a 120-night at-home sleep trial and asks you to keep the mattress at least 30 nights before a return; its warranty page describes a 15-year limited warranty that covers a visible indentation greater than one inch not caused by an unsupportive foundation.
  • Shipping and returns: Hamuq's shipping policy says "we offer free shipping on all orders" (additional charges may apply for deliveries to the Canadian territories), and for a returned mattress Hamuq arranges a courier pickup, with the refund processed after pickup.
  • What it does not offer: in-home setup, which its FAQ says it does not provide. It ships in a box by courier, and for your old mattress its FAQ points to curbside disposal where available, or help finding local options, rather than a removal service.

Hamuq Inc. sells mattresses. Sealy prices and terms are quoted from Sleep Country, Costco.ca, The Brick, Leon's and Sealy's Canadian site on the date stated.

Sealy questions

Sealy FAQs

Price and where to buy

How much does a Sealy mattress cost in Canada?

Quick answer: On October 19, 2026 the queens we found ranged from $299.00 (Sealy Essentials Evan II at Leon's) to $3,739.15 (Posturepedic Luxury Lainey at Sleep Country, was $4,399.00), with Costco.ca from $599.99 to $1,449.99 and The Brick from $899.95 to $2,399.00; compare the exact model, feel and size.

Is the Costco Sealy Posturepedic mattress on sale?

Quick answer: On October 19, 2026 Costco.ca's Sealy pages showed one price per size (the Posturepedic Pro Highland Manor queen at $949.99, the Pro Omak Valley queen at $1,449.99, the Plus Prosser Hills Firm queen at $1,099.99), and some pages carried a "Valid for orders placed" date range, so check the dates on the page before you buy.

Can you buy a Sealy directly from Sealy Canada?

Quick answer: Sealy Canada's site showed no prices on October 19, 2026 except "Queen Prices Starting At: $399" for its mattress-in-a-box line, and its "Find a Retailer" page asks for your address, so you buy through a retailer, and that retailer's trial and return terms apply.

What is the difference between a Sealy mattress and a mattress set at Costco?

Quick answer: Costco.ca's Sealy pages let you choose "Mattress Only" or "Mattress Set" (the set adds the foundation): the Posturepedic Catarina queen was $879.99 as the mattress only and $1,049.99 as a set on October 19, 2026, so make sure the button you compare is the one you want.

Trials, returns and warranty

Does Sealy have a sleep trial in Canada?

Quick answer: Not from Sealy's own site; the store sets it: Sleep Country offers one exchange within 100 nights (not before night 21, $99 fee plus any price difference), The Brick one reselection within 90 days (180 with a protector bought with the set), and Leon's one exchange within 100 nights with its Platinum Sleep Care cover, after 21 days.

Can you return a Sealy for a refund?

Quick answer: At Sleep Country, The Brick and Leon's the mattress policy is an exchange or reselection, not a refund; Costco's policy refunds the purchase price with listed exceptions and reviews each return case by case.

How long is the Sealy warranty?

Quick answer: It depends on the code on the law tag: Sealy's schedule gives 10 years for codes S3, P3, C3, T3 and R3, 10 years no-charge and 20 total for P1, 15 no-charge and 25 total for P9, and shorter terms (1 to 5 years) for other codes; ask the store for the code before you buy.

Choosing

Are Sealy mattresses worth the price?

Quick answer: On paper, a Sealy queen ran from $299.00 to $3,739.15 on October 19, 2026, the warranty runs from one to 25 years depending on the code, and the store trial is usually an exchange after 21 days; the value depends on the exact model, its code and the price for your size, so try it in a store and compare the terms before you decide.

How we know this

Every price and term in this guide was read on October 19, 2026 from the stores' own pages: Sleep Country's ten Sealy product pages (with the size selector for each price), its offers, 100-Night Comfort Guarantee, returns and delivery pages; Costco.ca's Sealy search results and product pages with the queen size and "Mattress Only" selected, and its return policy FAQs; The Brick's Sealy collection and product listings with its default location, and its satisfaction guarantee and removal pages; Leon's Sealy search results and a product page with its Richmond, BC store selected, and its Sleep Tight Comfort Guarantee page; and Sealy Canada's mattress page, find-a-retailer page, 2026 warranty certificate and warranty schedule. Prices are for the mattress alone, before tax, delivery and any checkout discount we could not see. Hamuq's prices and terms come from its product listing, FAQ, shipping and refund policies and warranty page. We did not buy, test or return a mattress. Prices and offers change; check the linked pages before you buy.

Comparing a Sealy with a boxed hybrid?

The Hamuq Original Hybrid is $999 in queen with free shipping under Hamuq's shipping policy (additional charges may apply for deliveries to the territories), a 120-night at-home sleep trial and a 15-year limited warranty.
